The Hurst Park Residents’ Association, based in East and West Molesey, Surrey, needed to revitalise its brand to strengthen community engagement and attract new members. While the association had a long history of representing residents’ interests, its outdated identity, inconsistent communications, and lack of digital infrastructure limited its ability to connect with modern audiences and sustain member growth.
Challenge
Redesign HPRA’s institutional identity and communications to reflect its role as a trusted advocate and cultural hub for the community. Create a contemporary, accessible, and engaging brand presence that would modernise perceptions, streamline membership management, and enable new revenue opportunities.
Approach
I led a full brand transformation, beginning with brand positioning and strategy aligned to HPRA’s mission of advocacy, unity, and cultural enrichment. This included developing a new visual identity system, newsletter redesign, and collateral materials. I designed and launched the new website hurstpark.org with integrated ecommerce for memberships, donations, and merchandise via WooCommerce, as well as a service directory and events hub. Social media branding and print newsletters were also developed to create consistent touchpoints across all channels.
Key outcomes
Established a modern and contemporary brand identity, increasing recognition and trust among residents
Improved community engagement through a redesigned newsletter, event promotion, and active digital presence
Streamlined membership management with online payments and ecommerce functionality
Positioned HPRA as a vibrant, future-focused association dedicated to advocacy and community-building
